On weekends, the CIA’s DeBaun Theatre comes to life with live cooking demos performed by the college’s renowned chef-instructors. During these one-hour events, you’ll taste seasonal flavors of Napa Valley wine country paired with wine from Greystone Cellars. Recipes change every weekend, so you’ll want to attend our California cooking demonstrations again and again. Planning Your Visit CIA cooking demonstrations are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Start time: 1:30 p.m. Cost: $25 Tickets are available in the Spice Islands Marketplace—directly to the left when you enter the building. Tickets sell quickly (maximum of 45 tickets per demonstration), so arrive at least 20 minutes early to secure your spot. We do not currently accept reservations. For groups of eight or more, please call 707-967-2530. Program Notes for CIA Cooking Demos Tastings from the cooking demonstrations are paired with a taste of Greystone Cellars wine. Wine will only be served to guests who are 21 or older. A non-alcoholic option will be provided as well. Two children under the age of 12 will be admitted at no charge when accompanied by a paying adult. Napa Valley weekend traffic can cause a delay of up to 45 minutes; please plan your travel accordingly. Tickets must be purchased from the Spice Islands Marketplace and will be first come, first served. Self-Guided Tour of Historic Greystone Enjoy a self-guided tour of the historic Greystone building, which houses Brother Timothy’s Corkscrew Collection, the Vintners Hall of Fame, The David and Judy Breitstein Collection, the Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies, the Ghirardelli Chocolate Discovery Center, and more.
