Frozen Mint Limeade

Makes 8 Servings

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/4 cups lime juice (from about 10 limes)
  • 3 lb crushed ice
  • 1 cup mint leaves


  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water and simmer to dissolve the sugar, about 1 minute. Set aside to cool.
  2. Combine the sugar water with the remaining ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Serve in a cup or glass with a straw or spoon.
